A Gift From Nature

Vitamin E has been used for years as an antioxidant and an anti-ageing agent but recent studies into some of the isomers from the Vitamin E family namely tocotrienols, show proof that it is an incredible combatant against several terminal diseases and ageing.

In this modern world, we are continuously exposed to a great amount of unstable molecules called free-radicals that are either produced in the human body or arise from the food we consume. These free-radicals can spread like wildfire, slowly deteriorating skin, eye health, oxidising 'bad' fat (LDL) on arterial walls which choke arteries and can even damage DNA and cells, ultimately increasing the risk for heart disease, cancer and other degenerative diseases, if left unchecked.

Tocotrienols as antioxidants, have an ability to neutralise free-radicals, stopping cell death and reducing the chances of cancer. Consumption and topical application of tocotrienols has also shown improvement in skin degeneration. Studies have also proven that tocotrienols reduce 'bad' cholesterol (LDL) and thus reduce arterial blockage (carotid arterialerosis), lowering the chances of heart attacks and strokes.

Naturally found in large amounts in palm oil, tocotrienols are a boon for a healthy body and healthy skin. Palm tocotrienol supplements are now commercially available, making it easier for people to consume it on a daily basis to help protect themselves against the ravages of ageing, pollution and unhealthy food and lifestyles.
